Gautier Grouvel
Virtual Reality Engineer
After training as a mechanical engineer, I took a biomechanics option in my final year. Upon completion of the placement for my Master’s with Prof. Armand’s team in the Kinesiology Laboratory at HUG (Geneva), I remained with the team as a research engineer, acquiring further expertise in the analysis of pathological gait patterns and the use of motion capture devices.
In early 2022, I joined the Centre qap team and am in charge of the new virtual reality studio.
We are working with outside consultants to develop new therapy tools in the form of interactive games and objects to motivate and engage children during their treatment sessions.
