3-4 December 2025 – Romandi’cap
Presentation of our AAC project at the 3rd Romandi’cap conference, organised by Orthoconcept.
1 September 2025 – Opening of AAC to external patients
In view of the strong demand for AAC in the Geneva area, after an intense year for the team gathering experience, developing the project and working with a few children, Centre qap extended the referral procedure to all children in need of services.
July 2025 – Intensive AAC course
A week of intensive therapy was organised for four children, the outcome of which confirmed the positive impact of AAC on their social interaction and their development.
September 2024 – Acquisition of material
In September 2024, thanks to precious initial financing, our paediatric rehabilitation centre launched a project in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). The acquisition of specialised material allowed us to offer AAC to the first patients as we developed the project and finally bring AAC to all children who need it, even if not followed at the Centre.
