  1. Organisational Context and Mission
    Centre qap, founded in June 2020 by the Association Lokhos, is dedicated to promoting the global development of children and adolescents with complex disabilities through continuous, therapeutic care, with the goal of improving their quality of life, health, and prospects for social integration.
  2. Role and Objectives of the Position
    As part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team, you will conduct occupational therapy assessments and provide care for children and adolescents with developmental delays and disorders. You will develop and monitor therapeutic plans, support families, and collaborate with medical professionals, teachers, and partners in the field.
  3. Qualifications
    Occupational therapy degree recognized by the Swiss Red Cross, with a licence to practise in Geneva
    Professional experience in a paediatric setting required
    Experience in implementing assistive devices preferred
    Ability to work independently and take initiative, particularly in the administrative management of patient records
    Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
    Interest in or knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus.

  1. Background and mission of the organisation
    The qap Centre, established in June 2020 by the Lokhos Association, aims to promote the overall development of children and adolescents with complex disabilities through continuous, therapeutic care, with a view to improving their quality of life, health and prospects for social integration.
  2. Role and Objectives of the Position
    As part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the assessment, evaluation, diagnosis and speech and language therapy of children and adolescents with moderate to severe language and communication delays and disorders. You will develop and monitor treatment plans, support families and collaborate with healthcare professionals, teachers and partners in the field.
  3. Qualifications
    Master’s degree or recognised qualification in speech and language therapy
    Ability to work independently, good organisational skills and a team-oriented approach
    SPS accreditation essential
    Experience in paediatrics required
    Very good knowledge of neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly ASD, ADHD, and spoken and written language disorders
    Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
    Skills in oral communication and eating disorders would be an advantage
    Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and good interpersonal skills with children and families
    Fluency in French (spoken and written); other languages desirable
    Ability to work independently, good organisational skills and a team player
