Virtual Reality Engineer
After training as a mechanical engineer, I took the biomechanics option in my final year. I was offered a placement for my Master’s with Prof. Armand’s team in the Kinesiology Laboratory at HUG (Geneva), followed by a position of research engineer there since 2021.
My training has given me expertise in the analysis of pathological gait patterns and the use of motion capture devices.
Early in 2022, I joined the Centre qap team to be in charge of the new virtual reality studio.
We are working with outside consultants to develop new therapy tools in the form of games and objects to engage children in their treatment.
