Medical training therapy is designed to improve muscle function and consists of an active programme of exercises which combine movement, strength, stamina and stability. MTT also leads to improved cardio-vascular functioning during physical effort.
It combines expertise in human movement sciences and physical training, shaping it to the impairment which impacts the patient.
This special programme is generally offered in addition to physiotherapy to reinforce the positive results achieved. The child works independently on a personal training programme under the supervision and recommendations of a recognised therapist.
